Your Privacy
TD;DR: I don't track you, and I don't store any of your information.
This site is controlled by Paul Jones. I'm just an individual developer, and I want nothing to do with any of your information. By design I store zero information about you, and I have no interest in changing that.
Stats
I do use Plausible analytics to track how many people visit my site, and which pages they visit. Plausible is a privacy-focussed alternative to Google Analytics, and I use it because it's the best analytics tool I've found that doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across sites, and doesn't store any personally identifiable information. All the stats for my site are public and you can view them here.
Here's what Plausible says about the data it collects:
We do not track people across their devices and across websites and apps that they visit. All the data is isolated to a single day, single website and single device only. There is no way to know whether the same person visits a site from more than one device or visits another website. See here the full list of what makes Plausible a privacy-first web analytics tool.
The goal of Plausible is to track overall trends in your website traffic, it is not to track individual visitors. We don’t use cookies, we don’t generate any persistent identifiers and we don’t collect or store any personal or identifiable data. All of the data is aggregated data only and it has no personal information.
You can read the full Plausible privacy policy here, which goes into more detail about the data collected, how it's used, where it's stored, and how long it's kept for.
That said, if you'd rather not be tracked at all you can opt out using the button below. This will set a value in your browser's local storage to tell Plausible not to track that browser.
